Ponderosa Pine Cones

Here's a watercolor for a change. These lovely ponderosa pine cones are in abundance around here. It also gave me a chance to do a little negative painting.(painting around the shape )

7th Wilmur Painting Workshop

I was recently invited to teach at the 7th Annual Wilmur Workshop held outdoors for a week. What a fantastic group of people that treated me royally!!
We covered a lot of ground both physically for me, and figuratively for everyone. There are a few missing from this photo. There were 15 attended.  This was my second time teaching for them and I thoroughly enjoyed it each time. Thanks again, group! Keep in touch.

about 6 layers and is very textural.

Little Bear

This little bit of cute is a stuffed bean bag that a very dear friend made for me. The flower is from my garden. Yes, it finally warmed up enough! I may darken under the glass and bear a little more, we'll see.

Blue Pinchpot

  6 x 6 in. Working on some smaller works for the Tour of the Arts. I'm having trouble taking photos because of the use of gloss medium throughout the painting.   SOLD

 

I am getting ready for Tour of the Arts in Invermere for August. My show at Pynelogs Gallery in Invermere opens Wed. June 20. Hope to get posting more often.
